Amy began her fitness career in 2002 in New Jersey as a group fitness and spinning instructor. Since then, she has continued her love of fitness, learning and teaching. She is a comprehensively certified Pilates instructor through PHI Pilates and teaches all aspects of Pilates including Chair, Mat, Reformer, Tower, Wunda Chair, Props, Arcs and Barrels. In NJ, she ran a small Pilates Studio in connection with a Physical Therapist. During this time, she was bestowed with several awards including: “Best Pilates Studio in Morris County”, “Favorite Pilates Studio” and “Best Pilates Studio in NJ” 6 years in a row! In addition to Pilates, Amy is a Personal Trainer on land and in the water. Amy believes that everyone can benefit from exercise regardless of their fitness level; from the injured to the athlete, every exercise can be modified to improve posture, strength, flexibility, balance and well being. She is always working to guide, inspire and challenge her clients through mindful movement to provide a personal and exceptional experience to meet the health and fitness goals of every person she trains. Amy is a graduate of Penn State University and recently returned to enjoy all of the fun, energy and opportunity that State College has to offer!
